Lehmann" project

Two shower rooms transformed into contemporary, refined spaces.

Location: Geneva

Year: 2023

Surface area: Apartment

Type: Residential

Mission : Complete renovation of two shower rooms (bathroom + separate WC), technical upgrades and asbestos removal.

Context

The customer had just acquired an apartment with two shower rooms typical of the 90s: dated tiles, cumbersome bathtub, poorly optimized spaces and far from today's standards.
Her objective was clear: to completely modernize these two spaces.

Approach & design

The project required a highly technical approach, in which my role as interior architect was indispensable for coordinating each stage:

  • Total transformation of the bathroom: removal of the bathtub, creation of a spacious walk-in shower, addition of an extra toilet,
  • Renovated separate toilet: complete refurbishment in the same style, for visual continuity,
  • Meticulous finishes: a choice of sober, elegant materials, enhanced by gold-finish fittings, adding a contemporary, precious touch.

Ambiance & materials

The result is a subtle contrast between sobriety and refinement:

  • Clear, timeless wall coverings,
  • Suspended sanitary units to optimize space and fluidify volumes,
  • Golden accents bring sophistication and modernity,
  • Integrated lighting to enhance surfaces and create a soothing atmosphere.

Results

The two shower rooms have become real areas of comfort:

  • modernity and elegance for everyday life,
  • functional optimization with greater fluidity and practicality,
  • a project delivered to a tight deadline, despite its technical complexity,
  • a renovation that adds lasting value to the apartment.
