Mauve" project

An apartment transformed by soft materials and harmonious tones.

Location: Gland, Switzerland

Year: 2019

Surface area: Apartment

Type: Residential

Mission: Fitting out living room, bedroom and renovating kitchen and bathroom - creating a soft, natural and coherent atmosphere.

Context

The customer wanted an apartment that reflected her image: calm, warm and elegant, far removed from the coldness of overly neutral furnishings.
The idea was to give personality to the space while maintaining a soothing atmosphere, conducive to relaxation and everyday life.

Approach & design

The work focused on several areas:

  • Create coherence between the different rooms (living room, bedroom, bathroom),
  • Soft, timeless palette: sandy beige, cream, white, punctuated with pink and copper touches,
  • Minimalist, integrated furnishings to free up space and make traffic flow more freely,
  • A play of materials: linen, wood, textured carpets, ceramics and natural decorative elements.

Ambiance & materials

The Mauve project features a minimalist yet warm atmosphere:

  • Soft, enveloping shades that enhance natural light,
  • Fluid textiles and thick carpets provide comfort,
  • Refined details such as the copper floral hanging, or the carefully crafted decorative objects,
  • A balance between functionality and softness, giving the apartment an elegant yet soothing personality.

Results

The Mauve apartment has become a cocoon of sobriety and softness:

  • a bright, coherent interior,
  • a natural, comforting ambience,
  • a discreet yet assertive identity, perfectly adapted to the customer's lifestyle.
