Context

Institut Van Hove wanted to modernize its space while meeting high demand for its services. The objective was twofold: to enlarge the existing surface area and reinvent the customer experience with a softer, more enveloping and upscale ambience.

Approach & design

The project required meticulous work on the technical aspects:

• Creation of a rounded platform to accommodate the Pedi Spa LemiSpa, with management of sanitary and electrical constraints,
• New treatment room harmoniously integrated into the existing layout,
• Milled and painted wall decor, giving visual structure and personality to the space,
• A sober, luminous palette: powdery, beige and pink tones combined with natural materials and comfortable seats,
• Optimization of reception, circulation and waiting areas to enhance customer comfort.

Ambiance & materials

• The rounded shape used for the dais creates an impression of fluidity and softness - a reassuring geometry in interior design that softens the space and creates a sense of welcome.
• Textures play a central role: light woods, velvety fabrics, wall caning and vegetation for a natural, soothing effect.
• Light is designed to be diffused and warm, promoting relaxation and well-being.

Results

The Van Hove Institute now offers a :

• more spacious and functional,
• visually harmonious thanks to rounded edges and soft textures,
• in line with today's expectations in terms of commercial design and well-being.
